A Candle for Hudson

My friend Ed Chaney and his wife Mandy Hitchcock are spending their last hours with their small daughter Hudson. A healthy girl earlier this month, Hudson contracted meningitis. Nothing the health professionals in DC did could stem the infection. This evening they are in the process of letting go.

Ed and Mandy have friends all over who have been communicating through Facebook. Claudia Horwitz and I suggested that everyone light candles today and spend 5 minutes in silence at 7:00 pm this evening. What we could do was to surround Ed, Mandy, and Hudson with love and prayers. Concentric circles of love.
